  1. The Medicare program should seek and reward value. Iowa hospitals should be rewarded for providing high quality low-cost health care.

 

  1. We favor tort reform

 

  1. We urge the state legislature to budget no more then 96% of projected income.

 

  1. We resolve that (products containingsudo-ephedrine) sales be limited to 2000mg per sale and require identification and signature per sale.

 

  1. The definition of life starts at conception.

 

  1. We favor the repeal of the “no child left behind” program.

 

  1. We support English as the official national language.

 

  1. We support legal immigration under the existing laws, NOT amnesty or expansion to include illegal immigrants

 

  1. We support a balanced budget with no new programs until money is found to support said programs.

 

  1. We support international space exploration, in the instances of a joint space program all participates should pay equal amounts.

 

  1. The Federal Government should not be expanded.

 

12.  We believe the use of emails should remain untaxed by any governmental jurisdictions

 

  1. We oppose Vilsack's tax increase. His proposal would drive professional jobs out of the state.

 

  1. American corporations should be given tax breaks for manufacturing 75% of their goods in the U.S.

 

  1. Manufacturers should pay tariffs for components manufactured outside the U.S. and brought in.

 

  1. We encourage out legislators to support ethanol, biodiesel and renewable fuels.

 

 

 

17.  We, the delegates of the Webster County Republican Party, recognize that Social Security will begin running deficits in the next decade which threaten the promise of Social Security made to American retirees; we further recognize that an increase in payroll taxes or cuts in benefits to retirees are not acceptable. Therefore, we urge our elected officials and candidates to support real Social Security Reform by using the current surplus to introduce Individual Social Security Accounts so that the benefits of future generations can be secured and that ownership of those accounts can be accrued over the course of a worker's life and be available to them and their families.

 

  1. We support the Partial Birth Abortion Ban.

 

  1. We support the "Fetus is a Person Act."

 

  1. We support the continued ban on human cloning.

 

  1. We believe Christian television and radio should in no way be stopped or hindered.

 

  1. We believe the voluntary use or reference to God and prayer should not be restricted in any way by local, state, or federal law or judicial ruling or agency.

 

  1. We support the traditional Judao Christian family values.

 

  1. We state a declaration of support for out USA troops and the president's handling of the War On Terrorism.

 

  1. We favor the use and funding of National Guard and Federal troops to patrol the US border for the purpose of controlling illegal immigration and smuggling.

 

  1. We do not support same sex unions, marriage or divorce.

 

  1. We support a constitutional amendment to establish one man/one woman marriage.

 

  1. Introduce legislation to prevent recognition of same sex marriages or unions.

 

  1. Where as the ban on CFCs was imposed in 1995 and in the summer of 2003 the "ozone hole" was the largest it has ever been, we call upon congress and the president to acknowledge that the CFC ban was a scam.

 

  1. We call upon congress to force the FBI to release the surveillance tapes of the Murrah Building that were recorded just prior to the Oklahoma City bombing.

 

  1. We support the nomination of judges who interpret the Constitution with the original intent of the framers.

 

  1. For citizenship to be granted through naturalization, the applicant must pass a standardized English fluency test.
  2. The 10 Commandments should be permitted to be displayed in city, county, state and federal buildings.

 

  1. We support the right of the students to recite the Pledge of Allegiance with the words “Under God” included.

 

  1. We support the right of a minute of silence at the beginning of the school day, where a student may say a voluntary prayer.

 

  1. We favor the voucher system.

 

  1. Limit the growth of gambling in Iowa. No more licenses.
